For those who feel like the best way to connect with nature is by walking and exploring the trails, there are many great options. We recommend the trails of Baía de Algualva, which is 2.49 miles long, or Rocha do Chambre, a bit more challenging since it’s 5.59 miles long. #### Viewpoints **ALTITUDE AND EMOTION** Even though the island isn’t very big, its flora and fauna beauty are unparallel. Looking for the highest point with the best view is always a great adventure, lucky you it’s possible to find numerous viewpoints throughout the island. Close to the hotel one should visit Monte Brasil a Natural Park with walking trails and stunning sights. Also, a short drive away there’s Serra do Cume whith has a beautiful viewpoint onto the amazing landscape of the famous fields that look like a patchwork. There’s also the viewpoint of Laginha, where you can observe Ilhéus das Cabras, or even Facho viewpoint, that offers a panoramic view over the sea, the bay, and Praia da Vitória’s dock. #### NATURAL POOLS **DEPTH AND TRANQUILITY** In Azores, the ocean is our pool. A great way to spend the hot days is exploring the numerous natural pools of our island. The most beautiful natural pools of the island are in a place called Biscoitos. If you head south to Feteira, you can swim with a view onto small volcanic islands called Ilhéus das Cabras. Renting a car or a boat is the best option to explore all the other amazing parts of the island.
